This thermostat has 4 programmable event times for weekdays and separately 4 event times on weekends
This unit allows you to connect several mats or cables sets together to be controlled by a single thermostat. This is useful when the total amperage of the mats/cables is higher than the capacity of a single thermostat and two or more thermostats are not practicle.
All of Danfoss' Thermostats will activate this module when the floor sensor calls for heat so you don't need two thermostats
The Danfoss Little Buzzer continuity tester is a great tool to take advantage of while installing the LX, TX or GX mats or cables. The Little Buzzer is designed to monitor the mats or cables during installation process and sounds an alarm if the heating elements are cut or damaged. This allows for easy repair before the floor coverings are laid. The device comes with batteries.
Danfoss cable strapping is a unique binding system to hold our heating cables. This system is designed for optimum spacing and holds it securely.
Danfoss strapping is included with all LX cable kits and is also sold separately in 15ft and 75ft lengths.
Clips are spaced at 1" increments so you can keep precise spacing (e.g. every 3") or you can alternate the spacing (3" then 4" then back to 3") to get coverage in 1/2" increments (e.g. 3-1/2" spacing).
In the unfortunate event that a cable is damaged during installation, this kit gives you everything you need to repair a damaged cable; Repair wire, Crimp Connectors and Heatshrink
The GX-850m Snow/Ice Controller gives you all the control over your system that you need:
These contactor and timer panels are designed primarily for snow and ice melting applications. All panels are prewired and UL Listed complet ewith a NEMA-1 enclosure, wiring diagrams, terminal connection block, 4hr timer (12 hr Optional) and two or four 3-pole contactors.
The benefit of not having the GFEP Protection in the Relay Control Panel and having it in the distribution (breaker) panel means independant monitoring of each circuit connected to this panel. The panel should be used in conjunction with at least one other form of aerial or surface mount activation.
These contactor and timer panels are also designed primarily for snow and ice melting applications with GFEP (Ground Fault Equipment Protection, 30ma Trip) included simplifies your installation and minimizes costs.
Danfoss UL Listed panels feature a NEMA 1 enclosure, terminal connection block with either two or four 3-pole universal contactors.
The panel should be used in conjunction with at least one other form of aerial or surface mount activation.
Designed for single circuit snow melting system control when multiple circuit control panels, like the GX Panels above, are not required. This panel must be used with at least one form of activation (Aerial or Surface Mount Temperature/Moisture Sensor, Timer or Wall Switch).
The Danfoss digital ground sensors are used with the GX-850 and GX-850M 2-Zone Automatic Control Panels.
Simple Controller with the most optimal solution choices for keeping an area free of ice and snow.
The controller acts on information received from the (2) sensors surface mounted, which register both temperature and moisture independantly and then calculates the information ensuring that the heat will only be turned on when snow and/or ice is present. The result is optimal performance with maximum energy savings and minimum operating cost.
This Aerial Mounted, Remote Temperature/Moisture sensor can be used when Surface Mounted Sensors are not a viable choice or, to replace your old, unrepairable sensor.
Fully automatic with a base mounted temperature sensor Probe and a choice between a base or remotely mounted precipitation sensor, these sensors are easy to install, program and maintain. When freezing rain or snow lands on the precipitation sensor and the temps are below the adjustable temp setting, the microcontroller activates the system. The heated precipitation sensor continually evaporates the moisture until none is present. With the built in "after-run" timer, the sensor keeps the system running until the ground is dry, then it shuts off automatically.
The CDP-2 brings control and monitoring of your snow melt system indoors. No need to hope that the system has successfully triggered. One glance at the CDP-2 confirms it. The CDP-2 fits in a standard single or multi-gang electrical encosure.
The CDP-2 allows control of the snow sensor and also reports the sensor's own override switch position. The "Manual On" function activates the snow sensor and controlled equipment to operate for one "after-run delay" cycle. The after-run delay cycle is adjustable in two delay modes; 30-90 minutes or 2-6 hours. This can be handy for special operational conditions, like clearing hail buildup or heavily drifted snow without the potential expense of leaving the system in a continuous "Manual On" condition. The "Automatic" position allows the sensor to handle all detections and control. The CDP-2 unit will also always revert to "Automatic" mode once a "Manual On" cycle has been completed. A sensor will report activation by illuminating the "Deice On" indicator. The "Standby" position disables triggering even in snow conditions and can also be used to clear the after-run delay timer from true or test activation.
This mechanical timer can be used when a severe storm is in the forecast and preheating will assist in preparing for what's to come. It can also be used when the area is clear after the snow falls but then either heavy winds cause drifting or snow melts and the run-off water can refreeze at night.
Mechanical design. Needs no power to function.
